We are Rotarians. We are located here in Norwich, Connecticut. This is what we do and why we do it.
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Rotary International is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, business leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
While we are one of three Rotary Clubs that support the Greater Norwich area; and we are 1 of 35,000+ clubs around the world working together to:
- Promote peace
- Fight disease
- Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Save mothers and children
- Support education
- Grow local economies
Our mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Locally we have fun and fellowship at our weekly meetings. This building of comradery allows us to put warm, winter coats on children in need, feed the hungry, educate our children, conduct Amber Alert screenings and much more… all here in the Greater Norwich area.
