Norwich Rotary Club

Kindness Gardens

Since 1920, the Rotary Club of Norwich has been working to strengthen our
community through action, supporting those in need, building connections
sharing success and exchanging ideas for a better tomorrow.

From the tragedy of the 2012 shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in
Newtown, CT where 20 students were killed, the idea was born for the
Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary (CVH). It serves as a reminder
that we must all nurture kindness together as a community.

This fall, we will be selling KINDNESS GARDEN KITS throughout the City of
Norwich ready for delivery and planting on your property next spring. 50%
of your garden donation supports the CVH Foundation.org and 50% supports
the Rotary Club of Norwich Foundation Centennial Clock Project.

Consisting of perennial Indigenous pollinator plants.  These beautiful gardens will support butterfly migration and strengthen our local ecosystems. Each kit comes with plant plugs, planting and care instructions and garden signage.
