Raymond Camp – 17th Norwich Rotary President

Raymond Camp served as the 17th President of the Norwich Rotary Club, serving from 1936-37.

He was born July 25th, 1908 in Portland, Maine, the youngest of Walter and Louise Camp’s two sons.

Mr. Camp was an insurance agent. He was associated with the Norwich Land Title Insurance Company, Case Insurance Agency, J. L. Lathrop and Sons, Mutual Insurance Office, Royce Agency, and N Tarrant and Company.

Camp served on the board of Chelsea Groton Bank. He was a member of the American Red Cross.

Camp and his wife Alice had three children, Phillip, Richard, and Jane. The family lived on Oneco Street in Norwich.

Raymond Camp passed away in Norwich, on July 27th, 1975.
