The Whiskey, Wine and Cigar Event is now sold out.

Native Son/Daughter luncheon will be coming up.  Stay tuned for an announcement on date and recipient. 

Rotary Day of Service is May 16th so mark your calendars and help pack meals at the United Methodist Church in Ledyard. 

Please bring spare clean egg cartons and give them to Bonnie Johnson.  

If you know of a speaker for one of our meetings, please contact Kevin Wickless or Alexis Kahn to get on the schedule.

Membership Minute:  Stan Lucas

Stan inducted new member Mary Riley into the club!  Welcome Mary!

Happy Dollars:  Mike Matera

Mike started things off by welcoming our guests.  He had some sad dollars as his car was hit again but thankfully nobody got hurt. 

Andy Nollman said that this year’s Whiskey Wine and Cigar night is sold out and proceeds look like the net could break the $8,000.00 mark!

Bill Champagne said there will be a lecture at the Otis Library on Wednesday with author John Mills at 5:30pm.

Roz Etra was happy to no longer by using a cane after her recent knee replacement.  She did mention a long drive to New Jersey to see her granddaughter’s play was a bit taxing on the new knee.

Margarida Martins-Querido reminded everyone that OP-Sail is not just a New London thing, it’s a Connecticut thing!  It’s September 12th and 13th this year.  Amazing drone show will take place!  She also said she spent some time visiting Pat Marshall.

Andy Grant said he has to remind himself not to swear around Gary Young during tennis.

Susy Hurlbert said she’s looking forward to seeing the play Hamilton in a couple weeks.  She also had a nice visit to Kent Falls over the weekend.

Gary Young said the putting contest will begin at the next meeting to benefit the Golf Tournament.

Stan Lucas asked for prayers as he’s going to hike Tuckerman’s Ravine in New Hampshire for the umpteenth time!

Paul Gaffney, Susy Hurlbert and JoAnne Delouis drew cards to no avail.  Rodney Green and Stan Lucas won Barry’s ARC Cookies!

Program:  President Steve introduced our guest speaker JoAnne Delouis from Major Minors, Inc.  

The meeting concluded with Bonnie Johnson leading the club reciting the 4-Way Test at 1:07pm.
