Victor Manych, 54th Norwich Rotary Club President

Victor Manych, was the 54th President of the Norwich Rotary Club, serving in the 1973-74 year.

Manych was born March 23, 1911, in New York City, the son of Czechoslovakian immigrants John and Mary Manych. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx.

Victor Manych attended Princeton University, where he competed on the fencing team. His yearbook photo is pictured above.

He served in the US Army as a Lieutenant, Junior Grade during World War II.

Manych was a District Manager for the W.T. Grant Company of Albany, New York.

Victor and his wife Ethel lived on Plain Hill Road in Norwich. He passed away April 11, 2002.
